Dodge City Housing Authority Improvements

Sealed bids will be received by the Dodge City Housing Authority, 407 Bend Avenue, Dodge City, Kansas 67801, until 3p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, for the furnishing of all labor and materials specified and the performance of all work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications for:

The scope of work of the project includes four packages: 1) removal and replacement of fifty-six storm/screen doors at the property known as Comanche Terrace; 2) removal and replacement of one hundred thirty-six storm/screen doors at the property known as George-N-Courts along with exterior building envelope upgrades; 3) removal and replacement of four automatic sliding doors and hardware at the property known as North Hi-Rise; 4) new entry hardware for doors located at the property known as South Hi-Rise.

A bid package will be available electronically from the Architect, Baker McMillan Architects, P.A., by emailing the administrative account admin@bakermcmillan.com .

Bid Security will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder qualifications may be required in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Contract time will be set in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Agreement. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.

No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of Thirty (30) days after the date of the opening of the Bids. The owner intends to award the contract on or before May 5, 2026.

The properties are available for review by interested parties upon request. It is the responsibility of the contractor to familiarize themselves with the properties and existing conditions prior to bidding.
