DoDEA Grades 6-12 Science Instructional Resources

This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Vendors should not submit offers until the solicitation is posted to SAM.gov

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has a requirement to provide evidence-based resources aligned to all performance expectations in the NGSS. In middle school, performance expectations include life, earth, and physical science at each grade level. In high school, performance expectations are distributed into three courses Biology, Chemistry, and Physics with Earth Science being integrated into each course. Deliveries are to various locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) where DoDEA Schools are located.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513130), Book Publishers, and the applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is 7610, Books and Pamphlets. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting offers.

DoDEA intends to issue solicitation No. HE1254-25-R-E003 in support of this requirement. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The contract type will be firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with an estimated period of performance consisting of a 5-year contract.

Potential sources are invited to submit a Capabilities Statement, up to five (5) pages, in response to this Sources Sought in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). All responses must be submitted via email to the following points of contact no later than Monday, October 21, 2024 12pm Eastern Time.
