The purpose of this RFI is to gather information about available Visitation Scheduler applications to better understand available technologies, capabilities, implementation models, and best practices to support secure, efficient, and equitable visitation services while considering all VADOC policies and procedures. Information received in response to this RFI may aid in the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) leading to the selection of a vendor for the installation and possible administration of an automated web-based visitation manager application. To better evaluate our options, VADOC is seeking responses from firms utilizing or representing Visitation Scheduling applications currently in service. VADOC would like vendors to describe systems that use modern technologies, are browser neutral, and can scale to support increases in work over the coming years. VADOC may request meetings and/or demonstrations from responding vendors for the purpose of obtaining additional information. This request for information is not intended to result in a contractual relationship. The Commonwealth will not bear the costs of any vendors response.
