2025-526 McCarthy Beach Ski Trail Road Improvement

THE BID SPECIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE PROJECT SUPERVISOR. THE BID OPENING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED FROM 02/12/2025 TO 02/19/2025 AT 2:00 PM. If you have previously submitted a bid for this project, you will need to need to resubmit your bid.

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the labor, equipment, mobilization, fuel, lubricant, aggregate, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide, load, haul, spread, level, crown, and compact an estimated 1,100 cubic yards (loose measure) of class 5 aggregate on an approximately 1.4 mile portion of Ski Trail Road stretching from County Road 5 to the Pickerel Lake parking lot as specified within McCarty Beach State Park.

Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection.

Please be aware that there are attachments to this event. The vendor is responsible for reviewing all attachments and complying with all requirements to this Event. DNR will be the determining factor if vendor meets specifications. All questions should be directed to the buyer listed in this event.

Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project.

Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.

Per Minn. Stat. § 326B.701, unless exempt, any Person, as defined by Minn. Stat. § 181.723, subd. 1(a), who performs public or private building construction or improvement services must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).
