2026 031 Kronseder Bluffs Prescribed Goat Grazing REBID

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for prescribed rotational goat grazing on 62 acres of bluff prairie and surrounding woodlands on the Kronseder Bluff Unit in the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest Property for the reduction of woody vegetation encroaching on a high- quality bluff prairie habitat and surrounding savannah and woodlands. The primary target vegetation for removal is buckthorn, however, prickly ash, honeysuckle, aspen, dogwood, autumn olive, sumac, and raspberries are to be considered target species as well.

Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project.

Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.
