DNR Metal Storage Building Installation in 4 Ohio State Parks

Project Background: The Division of Parks and Watercraft requires a total of four metal storage buildings at State Park locations across Ohio. Each building will be a separate project so a supplier may bid on and be awarded one or multiple projects.

Specifications/Scope of Work

FOR EACH BUILDING:
•Awarded supplier to obtain applicable building permits and coordinate inspections with the Ohio Department of Commerce.
•Supplier to provide as-built records including as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals for all building components.
•Completion by June 30, 2025

Building 1: 16’ x 20’ x 7’ Storage Shed to house 2 UTVs
•Metal siding – tan
•Metal roof – brown
•Man Door
•Gutters and downspouts
•(2) Roll-up garage doors with minimum dimensions of 8’x7’ to be located on the 20’ side.
•Doors must be able to be locked from the outside.
•The structure must be durable enough to withstand the environmental conditions of the Lake Erie shoreline and keep the vehicles secure while not in use.
•To be installed on a prepared gravel base
•Shipping / Delivery and Installation costs must be included in the cost of the item.

Building 2: 16’ x 24’ x 7’ Storage Shed to house 2 UTVs and a Jon boat for emergency response
•Metal siding – tan
•Metal roof – green
•Minimum of 14-gauge metal
•Side entry walk in Man Door (white) minimum dimensions of 36”x 80”. Located on long side near the front
•Gutters and downspouts
•Roll-up garage door (white) with minimum dimensions of 8’x7’. Located on short side/ front
•Door must be able to be locked from the outside.

•To be installed and anchored on a prepared gravel base
•Shipping / Delivery and Installation costs must be included in the cost of the item.

Building 3: 30’ x 50’ x 14’ Storage Shed to house construction equipment
•Metal siding- tan
•Metal roof – brown
•Man Door - (white) minimum dimensions of 36”x 80” - prefer to be on front left side with garage doors
•(3) garage doors 12’w x 12’h on long side
•Downspouts and Gutters
•To be installed on a prepared gravel base
•Shipping / Delivery and Installation costs must be included in the cost of the item.

Building 4: 30’ x 50’ x 14’ Storage Shed to house construction equipment

•Metal roof – brown
•Man Door - (white) minimum dimensions of 36”x 80” on the short wall left corner
•(3) garage doors 12’w x 12’h on long side
•Downspouts and Gutters
• To be installed on an existing concrete pad – Prior to this installation the pad will need to be inspected and signed off by a certified structural engineer.

Pre-Bid Meeting : A Pre-Bid meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 1/7/2025 from 11am –12pm.

Evaluation.  The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.
