The above contract has experienced the following revisions:

Bidder Question: A bidder has posed a question about line item 0031 Generic

Pavement Marking Item Decorative Crosswalk Pavement Marking: Regarding the

decorative crosswalks. “Does the Department require a specific specification for

this work?”

Department Response: In accordance with the first page of the proposal “The

Bidder has carefully examined the location of the proposed work to be known as

Contract No. DN01136; has carefully examined the plans and specifications,

which are acknowledged to be part of the proposal, the special provisions, the

proposal, the form of contract, and the forms of contract payment bond and

contract performance bond; and thoroughly understands the stipulations,

requirements and provisions.” We recommend conducting a site visit to the

project location, as the Department is only requiring replacement of the crosswalk

currently in place. Also please refer to the Decorative Crosswalks TPPM

(Thermoplastic Pavement Markings) provision on page R-1.

These revisions do not change bid items or the associated quantities.
