Division of Mental Health Request for Proposals (RFP) for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Advanced Training 2025

The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health, is accepting proposals for the provision of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) 2 advanced trainings (The Art of EMDR and Grief and Mourning: Transformation of Connection with the Deceased Loved One) for the one-year period of January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, in the total amount of $50,000.00. The Division of Mental Health is seeking a trainer affiliated with the EMDR Institute to provide the two advanced EMDR training to a minimum of 25 licensed mental health clinicians in Mercer County. Additionally, the awarded recipient will be expected to provide at least 8 case consultation sessions to support the use of the skills taught in the EMDR training.
The purpose of this County funding is to equip licensed practitioners who treat adults and children in the publicly funded mental health system of care in Mercer County with the evidenced-based EMDR therapy. EMDR is a comprehensive psychotherapy that accelerates the treatment of a wide range of issues, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
