Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant – Community Work
Summary

The City of Tualatin invites consultants to submit sealed proposals to provide guidance and support for the launch of the newly formed Tualatin Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Advisory Committee. The consultant will assist in implementing best practices, sharing insights from neighboring entities' experiences with equity, and shall enhance the committee's understanding of relevant concepts, approaches, and tools. Proposals will be received until 3:00 pm PST, October 4, 2023, via email to rcontreras@tualatin.gov .

An optional Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held virtually at 2:00 pm PST on September 25, 2023, to provide information and respond to questions about the project. The virtual meeting will take place on Zoom and can be accessed through this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89203987302?pwd=eERhM2YwQS8zRUhsazlLWWxMcG9YZz09

No proposal will be considered unless fully completed in a manner provided in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) packet. Any proposal received after the closing time will not be accepted or considered. RFP packets may be downloaded from https://bids.tualatinoregon.gov or obtained in person at the City of Tualatin’s Administrative Office, located at 18880 SW Martinazzi Ave., Tualatin, OR 97062.

Proposers are required to certify non-discrimination in employment practices, and identify resident status as defined in ORS 279A.120. Pre-qualification of proposers is not required. All proposers are required to comply with the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes and Local Contract Review Board (LCRB) Policy.

The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so.
