DISTRICT-WIDE VERKADA UNIFIED ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM (UESS) INSTALLATION

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking Proposals for DISTRICT-WIDE VERKADA UNIFIED ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM (UESS) INSTALLATION . Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lvmwd , no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 .

The District manages a wide range of facilities, each with distinct security needs. To enhance physical security, situational awareness, operational consistency, and administrative efficiency, the District has adopted the Verkada Unified Electronic Security System (UESS) as the standard solution for access control and video surveillance. The District has completed installation of this UESS and carried out retrofitting and enhancement of systems at the Headquarters campus. The objective of the current RFP is to further develop and extend the existing infrastructure.

The installation at Rancho enables the District to assess vendor qualifications, installation methodologies, coordination efforts, scheduling, and integration with existing operational workflows. Following performance evaluation under this RFP, the District aims to pre-qualify one vendor for forthcoming site-specific initiatives, eliminating the need for additional competitive solicitations.
