District of Kitimat - CON#458 Landfill Electrical Fence 2025 - RFQ

Request for Quotation will be received at the District of Kitimat offices, located at 270 City Centre, KITIMAT, BC V8C-2H7, no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on 10 April 2025.

There will be a mandatory site visit located at the Kitimat Landfill at 10:00 a.m. local time on 24 March 2025.

The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:

-    Supply and install electric fencing including: wooden fence posts; bracing rails; 2655 m of High Tensile Steel Wire; in-line insulators; tube insulators; electric fence warning signs; splice-in tensioners; and Grounding system improvements as required;
-    Conduct temporary maintenance on approximately 811 metres of existing electric fencing including; visual inspections, wire insulators replacements, wire repairs, removal of vegetation/soil adjacent to fence, voltmeter testing at various locations along fence and documentation;
-    Equipment commissioning.

The District of Kitimat reserves the right to reject all quotations or to award the Contract to other than the lowest quotation received if it perceives that to be in its best interests.
