District Five, Wildlife Collision Avoidance System

DOT District Five is requesting proposals to furnish, install, configure, and test a novel wildlife collision-avoidance system (WCAS) using roadside technology to reduce the number of vehicle-animal collisions on State Route 40 (SR 40) through the Ocala National Forest in Marion and Lake Counties, as well as providing post-deployment, as-needed and technical support for 8 complete systems.

Proposals are due no later than May 5, 2026, at 10:00am.
