Due Date: 10/30/2025
The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is seeking Proposals for Distribution Transformers . Proposals are due no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025 .
The City of Anaheim (“City”) Public Utilities Department (“APU”) provides electric and water service to approximately 360,000 residents and 15,000 businesses located in Anaheim.
The Anaheim Public Utilities Department (“APU”) is issuing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to qualified respondents. The primary objective is to establish partnerships with firms that provide overhead, underground, and three-phase pad mount power distribution transformers. Suppliers must meet the minimum qualifications, terms, and conditions as outlined in this RFP and comply with the "Scope of Work and Specifications" as well as any and all "Attachments" herein (as such terms are defined below) .
City may make awards to multiple respondents if it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
City presently anticipates awarding the resulting solicitation by means of a purchase order for the estimated quantities set forth herein. Such quantities are provided for planning purposes only and do not represent a commitment by the City to purchase any minimum or maximum amount. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to negotiate and enter into a broader contractual arrangement with the selected vendor should the City’s operational needs or other circumstances require and align with the vendor’s proposal. Any such contractual arrangement may include, but is not limited to, multi-year supply, expanded product scope, or additional terms and conditions.
After selecting a successful respondent, the City will negotiate an agreement that substantially conforms to the requirements stated in the attached Model Contract (Attachment A). Any Contract between the City and the successful respondent would take effect upon execution by both Parties.
