Disposition of Surplus Fire Engines

Pursuant to M.G.L. c 30B, the City of Gloucester is seeking bids for the disposal of surplus Fire Engines.  The bid document containing an inventory of available items, terms and conditions and other information may be obtained, from the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester MA or email: For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. as of May 28, 2025. Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than June 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  There will be a voluntary pre bid inspection on June 4, 2025 from 9am to 1pm at DPW, 28 Poplar Street, Gloucester, MA 01930. The City reserves the right to waive any minor informalities and to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City of Gloucester.  The City shall not be responsible for the bids arriving late for any reason.
