DISA is seeking market research from qualified sources to provide full-spectrum engineering support for the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN). This effort covers all elements, layers, and gateways, including Internet Protocol (IP)-based and switched infrastructure secured over terrestrial and undersea fiber-optic networks, as well as military and commercial satellite communications. Support will span legacy, current, and future Department of Defense (DoD) and DISA capabilities. Key focus areas include IP and Optical Networking, Cloud Computing, Access and Peering Gateways. The Government is requesting industry feedback from companies with the expertise and proven experience to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative engineering solutions that advance DISA’s mission of global information superiority as a global carrier-grade network provider.
