The Water Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for professional services to implement and manage a direct installation program on a turn-key basis in disadvantaged communities. The services involve the procurement and installation of high-efficiency toilets, smart irrigation controllers, water monitoring devices, and other devices at no cost to the property owner. The anticipated contract term shall be for two years. The Water Authority, at its option, may extend the contract for up to an additional three years. The award of a contract is contingent upon Water Authority Board of Directors’ (Board) approval. The estimated budget for the first two-year period is $150,000 to $400,000, dependent upon available grant funding. Funding for future years is also contingent on available grant funds and Board approval.
