Digital Pathology

Project Description: UMC Hospital seeks a qualified vendor to identify and secure the most effective Digital Pathology (DP) solution for the University Medical Center (UMC) Pathology Department in order to meet the growing diagnostic demands and increasing case volumes. This solution will also support future expansion efforts, including the development of our cancer center and surgical hospital services.
Implementing DP capabilities through a high-quality digital slide scanner will enable pathologists to view and diagnose cases remotely, enhance workflow efficiency, ensure compliance with established guardrail processes, and improve diagnostic accuracy. Additionally, this initiative is expected to reduce operational costs and generate increased revenue through the expansion of anatomic pathology services.
