The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (The District) will receive sealed proposals for the 2024 Digester and Storage Tank Cleaning Project. Bids will be received at the office of the District, 1610 Moorland Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53713 until
1:00 p.m., CST, Friday, April 19, 2024
, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All proposals must be made on the forms provided herein and shall be addressed to the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District; Mr. Aaron Dose,
Process and Project Specialist
; 1610 Moorland Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53713; and shall be marked "Sealed Proposal, 2024 Digester & Storage Tank Cleaning Project."
All prospective prime bidders
must
submit qualifications for review and approval by the District. Prequalification applications will be distributed with the Contract Documents upon request of the District. Bidders who have already submitted prequalification documentation to the District within last calendar year of the bid date need not resubmit but
must
notify the District
in writing
by the due date (using the form provided) of their desire to prequalify for this specific work.
Prequalification applications
must
be completed and submitted to the District office no later than
4:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024
. Bidders will be notified only of disqualification no later than 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024. If a Bidder has not filed the prequalification application, their bid
shall not
be opened. For the cleaning contractor to be qualified, they must have at least 3 years of active experience in this type of work.
Only formal written addenda can materially alter the specifications. No verbal statement made by District employee or anyone else is binding nor shall such a statement be considered an official part of this public proposal.
All bid responses and their contents will be public record.
Unless otherwise specified in the bidding documents, the prospective bidders should check our internet site for any addendum 72 hours before the scheduled bid deadline.
The District is federal and state tax exempt. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any technicality and accept any proposal which may, in its opinion, be advantageous to the District.
