This solicitation is Stage II: Invitation to Bid of a multistage selection process for construction services. Only Contractors short listed by the Selection Committee during the Stage I: Request for Proposals process for this project are invited to bid during this stage of the selection process.
Project Description:The Point of the Mountain State Land Agency (POMSLA) is in the process of redeveloping the old correctional facility site located in Draper, Utah. As part of this work a water transmission line will be constructed to supply water to The Point. The line will connect to the existing 48” Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District line located in 14800 South. The line will then run to connections with a 3 MG storage reservoir located adjacent to the existing Department of Corrections Administration Building. The transmission line will then be tunneled under I-15 to connect to the distribution system for The Point. Line sizes will be between 16” and 30”. The work will include approximately 1,200 liner feet of 16” ductile iron, 1,300 linear feet of 30” ductile iron, cathodic protection system, and 300 linear feet of 48” steel casing tunneled under I-15.
