The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the construction of the referenced project:
Project Description: This project consists of upgrading multiple low voltage systems. These systems include Access Controls, Video Surveillance, Nurse Call Headend/ integration, New Patient Pendants, and a 2-Way Radio Communication system. The Access Controls will consist of replacing the existing keypads with new card readers, as well as new card readers at specific locations, these locations will require new pathway installation as well as new door hardware. The Nurse Call system will be a Head-end replacement and upgrade as well as upgrading specific devices required to work with the new system, the Nurse Call system will need to be integrated with the new Patient Pendants and the 2-Way Radio Communication system. Patient Pendants are a small single-button water resistant RF device, this system will need to have its own RF signal with dedicated Repeaters and Transmitters, it is also required to integrate with the Nurse Call System. Finally, the 2-Way Radio Communication system is for the staff nurses, managers, and maintenance employees, this will require a new head end, repeaters and antennas as required.
Construction Cost Estimate: $538,000.00
