Project Description:
This project consists of remodeling the existing third floor of the Tax Commission Building in Salt Lake City, Utah, to accommodate the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement (CC&E). Work includes selective demolition, construction of new offices and support spaces, restroom renovations, and installation of new architectural finishes and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.
The project also includes remodeling a portion of the State Library to create a Human Remains Workroom, Cemetery Workroom, and Cemetery Storage Room with a new exterior entrance. Work in this area includes removal and relocation of existing library shelving and construction of new partitions, finishes, and associated building systems.
