The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the referenced project:
Project Description: The project consists of a renovation to existing chemistry laboratories and preparation spaces within the Science Center at Southern Utah University. The main work of the remodel is specific to rooms 222, 223, and 224. This project involves resizing the classrooms to accommodate twenty-four students, replacing outdated fume hoods, updating shelving and counter spaces in the chemical prep room, and ensuring accessibility to utilities and safety features. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for appropriate storage for student materials, ADA-compliant seating, and the installation of modern teaching equipment, alongside aesthetic upgrades like new flooring and lighting.
