Design Services for the Widening of McDonough Parkway

The Henry County Board of Commissioners is requesting non-cost technical proposals from qualified consultants to design the widening of McDonough Parkway from a rural two-lane road to a multilane, divided, urban road.  This project also includes intersection improvements of Bridges Road and McDonough Parkway. This project is funded by Henry County SPLOST. The Consultant shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid.  Submittals will only be considered by those firms and subcontractors currently pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 3:00 PM local time on April 8, 2025.  Late bids will not be considered nor returned.  Bids submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person will be received by Henry County, Purchasing Department, located at 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA30253.  Electronic bids are to be submitted through the County’s eProcurement Portal at (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga).  Emailed or faxed bids will not be considered.

Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
