Design and Building Services for New Fire Training Facility

Cobb County (“County” or “Owner”) is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit proposals from qualified firms to construct a new Cobb County fire training facility in Marietta, Georgia. The total facility size will be approximately 18,620 square feet. The building will be a one-story pre-engineered metal building designed to support the training, education, and operational needs of the cobb county fire department . Proposals shall be received before 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2025 , via the County's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cobbcoga . Late Proposals will not be accepted.

This phased project is located on the site of a former police department firing range. Site preparation will include the complete demolition of the existing range, including the remediation and removal of lead and other metals associated with previous use. Site development will also incorporate stormwater management and water quality measures in accordance with applicable codes, utilizing existing master detention for overall fire training campus.
