Description

The City of Greenville is seeking qualifications and proposals from contractors/firms interested and qualified to provide design/build services for improvements to an area within Cleveland Park located along Cleveland Park Drive between the two existing parking lots. Generally, the subject area is bounded by the Greenville Zoo to the north, Richland Creek to the south, and guest parking lots to the east and west.

The Project involves renovations and additions/improvements to the area including but not limited to: demolition of two existing shelters, existing walkways, and playground equipment; construction of two new shelters, new sidewalk and pathway connections, and improved stormwater management; facilitate the installation of new playground equipment within the subject area including construction of the playground surfacing concrete base. The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, demolition, grading and drainage, irrigation, erosion prevention and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, asphalt paving, concrete work, new construction, and site lighting.

This project is being partially funded through a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant and must be fully complete and operational by October 31, 2026.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am EST on August 28, 2025 at Cleveland Park, located at 150 Cleveland Park Drive, Greenville, SC 29601.

*Meet at the shelter by the Greenville Zoo entrance next to playground.

Proposals will be received electronically until 2:00 P.M. ET, September 18, 2025. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., September 11, 2025.
