SECTION 003100

GEOTECHNICAL REPORTS

PART 1 – SOIL INVESTIGATION DATA

1.01 INVESTIGATION. A limited investigation of subsurface soil conditions at the building site was

authorized by the Owner. This investigation was made by Universal Engineering Sciences,

Panama City, Florida.

1.02 REPORT

A. UES Report No. 2162596 dated February 19, 2026, boring location maps, and logs of

test borings are bound herein for information only.

B. The geotechnical investigation conducted on the site was of a limited nature and

conducted for purposes of providing an indication of the general conditions of the site.

Reports and logs of borings are available for information only. The reports are not

warranties of subsurface conditions, nor are they a part of the Contract Documents. The

Design Builder is responsible for conducting any additional geotechnical investigations

that the Design Builder determines is necessary for the execution of the work.

1.03 INTERPRETATION

A. Proposers are expected to examine the site and the subsurface investigation reports

and then decide for themselves the character of the materials to be encountered.

B. The Owner disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, true location, and extent of the

soils investigation that has been prepared by others. They further disclaim responsibility

for interpretation of that data by the proposers, as in projecting soil bearing values, soil

stability, and the presence, level, and extent of underground water.

UES Professional Solutions, LLC (UES) has completed a limited preliminary geotechnical

exploration at the above referenced site in Wakulla County, Florida. The scope of our

exploration was planned in conjunction with and authorized by you. This exploration was

performed in accordance with generally accepted soil and engineering practices. No other

warranty, express or implied, is made.

The following report presents the results of our field exploration with a preliminary

geotechnical engineering interpretation of those results with respect to the project

characteristics as provided to us. We have included soil descriptions with estimated

seasonal high groundwater levels at the boring locations as well as a preliminary opinion on

the soil suitability of the site and provided recommendations for stormwater design

parameters.
