Design/Build for the Volusia County Sheriff's Office Administration Building

The County is seeking design build services for the construction of a new Headquarters for the Volusia Sheriff Office located at a 15.9 acre site on N. Woodland Blvd. The project shall include, but not limited to

• 2 story Administration Risk Category IV Building (Minimum 55,000 SF)
• Visitor Surface Parking and controlled access VSO parking for 500 vehicles.
• Whole Building Generator with ATS

This project will need to adhere to all current building standards as well as best practices for the design and construction of a law enforcement facility. The VSO headquarters is currently located in 16,000 SF of the fourth floor of the Thomas C. Kelly building in Deland. Other satellite offices exist throughout the County and the goal of this project is to provide a consolidated, technologically innovative headquarters to efficiently execute and support the Sheriff's law enforcement mission.
