Design-Build Contracting Services

Project Description: Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking to pre-qualify a new pool of Design-Build contractors (Phase I) in this Request for Qualifications. Only those Design-Build firms selected in this Phase I RFQ who are awarded contracts, execute said contracts, and receive Board of Education approval will be eligible for invitation to bid on future Phase II Design-Build projects. Therefore, if you are interested in Design-Build projects, you MUST submit to this Phase I RFQ, solicitation 24-723, in order to be considered for qualification and acceptance into the pool. Please download and review the RFQ document and all attachments prior to submitting any questions as most questions are answered within that document, Attachment K, and the "QandA" document from a previously published Notice of Intent (see below).
Questions should be posted to the public Q&A messages section here on Bonfire. Privately sent questions and answers will be posted here publicly to ensure that all firms have equal access to the same information. Your final chance to ask questions will be at the scheduled Pre-Submittal Conference.

Answers to questions from that NOI have been provided here for your convenience. Please review these answers prior to submitting your own question.
