ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at the College of
Southern Idaho, 315 Falls Avenue, Taylor Administration Building Room 106, Twin Falls, Idaho
83301 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 for DPW Project 25090 Desert Bldg.
Welding & Automotive Program Retrofit, College of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls, ID.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the renovation of the auto shop in the
Desert Building on the College of Southern Idaho Campus in Twin Falls, ID. Project scope includes various
architectural, HVAC, plumbing and electrical improvements. HVAC improvements to include replacement of
existing overhead vehicle exhaust systems. Installation of owner provided equipment with associated
power. New compressed air dryer with new piping to new locations. Replacement of existing lights. Two
new offices to be constructed within the shop with associated HVAC and electrical. Demolition of multiple
doors to be removed and infilled to separate spaces/departments.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., prevailing local
time, at the College of Southern Idaho, 315 Falls Avenue, Desert Building, Lobby, Twin Falls, Idaho
83301 Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $0.00. Others may obtain
documents at cost, non-refundable.
Electronic bid documents are available from the office of the Architect at no cost by contacting
maa@myersanderson.com.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
Estimated Cost: $747,000.00
