The Desert Air system for Unaccompanied personal Housing (UPH) is a specialized HVAC unit that controls humidity and conditions outdoor air to protect buildings and equipment and improve indoor air quality. USCG needs both the compressors and the unit’s heating coils removed and replaced. Furnish and install new compressor skid and heating coils.
The scope of work includes recovering the unit’s refrigerant and removing the compressor skid along with both liquid drier cores. The unit’s heating elements will also be removed. New, compatible compressor skid and heating elements will be provided and installed.
A site visit is required to conduct field verification of any/all quantities and compatible compressors and heating element before submitting bids. Interested parties shall make arrangements for a site visit with the QAE as stated in the attached Statement of Work.
