Solicitation Summary
The Work consists of the removal and replacement of existing exterior metal wall panels, installation of a
metal-over-metal retrofit roof system, interior wall panel system, exhaust fan and appurtenant components including, but not limited to, fiberglass insulation, flashing and trim, and gutters and downspouts upon an existing steel frame emergency services structure. Site work in the form of minor grading, drainage improvements, and placement of concrete pavement is also involved. Owing to the critical nature of the facility, certain scheduling, means and methods of construction will be subject to coordination with and approval by the Owner. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and register at the on-site Pre-Bid Meeting to be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 @ 2:00 PM on-site at the Queen Anne’s County Department of Emergency Services (DES) Station 400 located at 302 Safety Drive, Centreville, Maryland 21617. Site inspection outside of the Pre-Bid Meeting may be possible, but would need to be scheduled and approved in advance by contacting the Department of Public Works at (410) 758-0925.
