Dept. Of Agriculture - General Services - HVAC Inspections

The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes to perform quarterly and annual inspections on the HVAC System located at the Richard Beard Building, 1445 Federal Drive, Montgomery, AL 36107.  Suppliers must be able to access existing Trane software controls.

Suppliers who need assistance with submitting their bid may contact the Alabama Buys Helpdesk at (334) 353-0700.  Please note: Monday, September 7, 2026 is a State holiday.  The Alabama Buys Helpdesk will not be available to assist Suppliers on that day.

Scope Of Service: Quarterly and Annual Inspections Of HVAC Equipment

Equipment: Seven (7) Indoor WSHP's - Manufacturer: Trane, Model #: GEV24041E

Note: Supplier must be certified to work on Trane equipment.  The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries reserves the right to request documentation stating Supplier is certified to work on Trane equipment.

Supplier will perform the following tasks for three (3) quarters:

(1) Unitary Visual Equipment Inspection
(2) Supply Fan and Motor Inspection
(3) Generic Check Delta T
(4) Log Unit (NTP Air Handler)
(5) Condenser Coil Check
(6) Condenser Physical Fan Check
(7) Electrical Inspection
(8) Log unit (NTP Cooling)
(9) Check Output Temperature
(10) Filter Inspection (Supplier Will Notify Agency If Filter(s) Are Dirty)
(11) Supplier Will Provide Performance Report

Supplier will perform the following tasks annually:

(1) Unitary Visual Equipment Inspection
(2) Leak Test Inspection
(3) Condenser Coil Check
(4) Coil Cleaning With Solution
(5) Electrical Inspection
(6) Log unit (NTP Cooling)
(7) Filter Inspection (Supplier Will Notify Agency If Filter(s) Are Dirty)
(8) Supplier Will Provide Performance Report

Note To Supplier: Model/Part Number and Descriptive Literature

The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Suppliers quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote. Reference to literature with a previous solicitation will not satisfy this requirement.  Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the supplier’s response.
