NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS LIST OF QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS
IN THE CITY OF AUBURN, CALIFORNIA
The City of Auburn, invites all licensed contractors to submit pertinent information described herein for
inclusion in the Department of Public Works list of qualified contractors. This list will be maintained by
the City in conformance to the Section 22034 of the Public Contracting Code and the Uniform Public
Construction Cost Accounting Act Procedures and Section 36 of the Auburn Municipal Code. The list will
be utilized by the City to mail notices of all informal construction contracts being bid and inviting
qualified contractors to respond based on the category of work they are licensed to perform. Typical
work includes General Engineering, Earthwork, Landscaping, Electrical, Concrete, Paving, Plumbing and
General Building.
In order to be eligible all contractors must provide:
1. Business name and address
2. Phone number
3. Email address
4. Type of work the contractor is interested
5. Class of license(s) held including license number
6. Contractor's willingness and availability to respond to emergency-related work
Please note there is not a specific project identified at this time; however, this list will be utilized to draw
from in the future on an as-needed basis.
