The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes for electrical service to be performed at the State Chemical Laboratory located at 1171 Wire Road, Auburn, AL 36832.  Vendors who need assistance with submitting their bid may contactthe Alabama Buys helpdesk at (334) 353-0700.

Description Of Service : All labor, materials, and equipment to remove a 208V 3 Phase Circuit and create a 240V 3 Phase 50 amp circuit.

Minimum supplies needed to perform service:

(1) Three (3) general purpose transformers
(2) One (1) emergency disconnect
(3) One (1) 50 Amp 3 Pole Breaker

Notes :

(1) There is a mandatory site visit scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:00 am CST. Interested vendors must attend the site visit for bid to be considered. All questions about this project must be asked during the mandatory site visit.

(2) Work must be performed by a licensed electrical technician.  The Alabama Department Of Agriculture reserves the right to ask vendor to show proof they are licensed.

(3) Work must be completed within 15 days from receipt of purchase order.

Suppliers quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote.
