The contractor shall provide the following dental equipment services required to support the Phoenix Area medical equipment management plan:
i) Preventative Maintenance/Planned Maintenance: Scheduled routine maintenance in compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer requirements to verify operation is within acceptable parameters, identify faults or damage, and ensure the device is safe and effective. Maintenance is required to prevent failures by testing and inspecting the device at specified time intervals (annually, semiannually, quarterly, etc) and includes replacement of parts on an as-needed or routine basis (batteries, O-rings, etc.).
ii) Repair/Corrective Maintenance: Maintenance required in order to return a device to proper operating condition when a failure or fault is identified. Repair services include testing and determining the issue with the faulty equipment and providing the necessary parts and service to return the device to operational status.
