Denison PreK-8 School Kitchen Renovation project includes mechanical, electrical, carpentry, interior painting, tile installation, flooring, plumbing, etc. This work will help increase the serving line efficiency for our students during breakfast and lunch.

Denison School is a PreK–8 facility within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD), located on the city’s west side in the historic Denison Avenue corridor. The school serves a diverse student population and functions as a neighborhood anchor for families in the surrounding community. As part of CMSD’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, modern, and well‑maintained learning environments, Denison School has been identified for targeted improvements to support instructional programming, building operations, and long‑term facility sustainability.

The building is an active, fully occupied educational facility operating on a traditional academic calendar. All work performed under this Invitation to Bid must be coordinated to minimize disruption to students, staff, and school operations. Contractors should anticipate working within an urban school setting that requires strict adherence to CMSD safety, security, and access control procedures.

CMSD continues to invest in its PreK–8 schools to ensure that facilities remain aligned with district standards, state requirements, and community expectations. The scope of this project at Denison School supports that broader district initiative by addressing identified facility needs and enhancing the overall learning environment for students.
