RFQ# GRM/260186 Demolition and Removal of Structure at 1744 NW 4th Street
Scope of Work: 1. The City of Ocala is seeking quotes from qualified Florida licensed General, Residential, or Building Contractors to demolish and remove a structure located at 1744 NW 4TH ST, Ocala, FL 34475 | 2260-106-011.
• demolish and remove improvements, remove junk, and cut and clean lot.
2. Contractor will provide all labor and equipment to complete this project.
3. Bidders are highly encouraged to contact PbO3 Environmental Monitoring, LLC for any questions or clarifications pertaining to Exhibit C – Asbestos Survey Report prior to bid submission.
4. SITE VISIT: Bidders are highly encouraged to visit the site prior to bid submission.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience Requirement: Bidder must possess three 3 years’ experience in providing demolition rehabilitation services.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Commercial General Liability: with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate.
2. Commercial Automotive Liability: a combined limit of not less than $1,000,000.
3. Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability: per Florida statutory requirements.
PRICING AND AWARD
1. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis and shall include all costs necessary to complete this project (travel costs, permitting fees, disposal, etc.).
2. Award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting all requirements outlined herein. Permit allowance is $104.
