DEMOLITION, DISPOSAL AND REPLACEMENT OF WOODEN DECK STRUCTURES AT SPRING STREET SCHOOL

The Town of Shrewsbury invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for the demolition, disposal and replacement of five (5) wooden deck structures at Spring Street Elementary School at 123 Spring Street. All contractors must submit bids in conformance with this Invitation for Bids and the related documents which shall be available online at www.shrewsburyma.gov/bids and also in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury.

Work must be completed by September 30, 2026.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Spring Street School at 11 AM on August 11, 2026.

Bids will be received in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury, MA until 1 PM on August 17, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids must be sealed and marked “Bid for Spring Street School Decks” with the bidder’s name and address clearly noted.

A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany the Bid and be made payable to the Town of Shrewsbury.

The Town reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the bids and to reject any and all bids if it shall be deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
