Demolition, Asbestos Abatement, and Site Restoration Services
DATE: October 15, 2026
Rock Island County, Illinois ("County") is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide residential
demolition, asbestos abatement, and site restoration services needed for the County's implementation
of the Flood Hazard Mitigation Program (FHMP). As a result of prior flood disasters, the County has been
awarded a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to acquire and demolish
flood-prone properties to eliminate the risk of future flood damages. Additional information is available

Submission Deadline: All bids must be received no later than 4:30 PM on Monday, November 2, 2026.
Submission of Bids: Please submit a copy of your bid in a sealed envelope with the words "SEALED BID
FLOOD DEMOLITION SERVICES" to:
