INVITATION FOR BID
The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia (“the Owner”) seeks proposals from interested qualified firms to provide, including all the details outlined and required in the Scope of Work section.
This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Demere Park Walking Path Construction Project. The successful Bidder shall provide all skill; labor, material, and equipment to install approximately 1,200 linear feet of 8' concrete sidewalk to include benches and trash cans in Demere Park as indicated in the construction plans and specifications attached here-in. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all skill, labor, equipment, materials/products and performing all project coordination necessary to install the sidewalk and furnishings. The work will contain, but is not limited to, sidewalk construction, Demo, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, backfilling , grassing, and erosion control. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings provided herein. . At 2:00 bids will be opened in conference room 224 located on the second floor of the Harold Pate Building which is located at 1725 Reynold Street Brunswick, GA. Additionally, the bid opening will be streamed live on the County's YouTube Channel.
Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned online via the Portal. Bids may not be considered unless so received.

. All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer. Bidders shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation.
