This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2025‑04.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), under the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), requires a Deformable Mirror (DM) for use in an adaptive optics (AO) system supporting regulatory science investigations into ophthalmic devices. The attached Statement of Work lists the requirements for the DM.
