Light attenuation in tissue due to scattering and absorption have limited the light penetration depth and the applications of optical imaging in biomedical and clinical research. NIH is seeking further information about the institutions and companies with expertise and capabilities to enable deep tissue optical based imaging. Examples of such technologies includes adaptive optics, wavefront shaping, spatial light modulators, optics and artificial intelligence, optical imaging and deep learning, optical imaging and integrated circuits, multiscale imaging, synthetic wavelength technology and biophotonics. Please provide contacts and describe your capabilities, expertise, and description of your organization.
