Description
The goal of this project is to maintain decorative metal finishes on State-owned buildings and monuments. The State does not guarantee any minimum level of purchases under the Contract.
The State reserves the right to award multiple Agreements following this RFP.
Background
The State of Iowa has various metal fixtures, including but not limited to doors, decorative transoms, railings, plaques, etc. These fixtures are brass, bronze, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, or wrought iron. Depending on the material and repair needed, the fixture may need specialized tools or expertise to complete the repair. The State currently has a contract in place for the restoration of certain bronze monuments, but this contract does not cover other metals or other fixtures.
