Decatur Legacy Park Trustee and Edwards Renovation

The City of Decatur will receive sealed bids for the Decatur Legacy Park Edwards and Trustees Renovation, Decatur, Georgia 30030, until March 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the City Commission Room at Decatur City Hall, 509 North McDonough Street, Decatur, Georgia, 30030, at that time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. This work project includes renovating the Edwards and Trustees Cottages at 500 South Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030.

The proposals must be mailed or hand delivered to the City Manager¿s Office on the 2nd Floor of the Decatur City Hall (509 North McDonough Street, Decatur, GA 30030) and shall be marked ¿Decatur Legacy Park Edwards and Trustees Renovation¿ The bidder must submit three (3) copies of their proposal with one marked original.

A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00AM, February 24, 2026, onsite at 500 South Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030 in the Edwards and Trustees Buildings. Any questions regarding bids and/or misunderstandings that may arise from this proposal should be submitted, via email and should be directed to Felix Floyd, Assistant Public Works Director, at felix.floyd@decaturga.com, no later than March 4, 2026, at 3:00PM.

Proposals will be considered only from experienced and well-equipped contractors. Prior to beginning construction, the successful bidder will file with the City a certificate of insurance. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding.
