Debt Collection Services

The Western Virginia Water Authority (Authority) of Roanoke, Virginia is requesting formal sealed proposals for contracted debt collection services.  The attached scope of work is submitted for your review and consideration.

This may result in a two year contract with the option to be renewed annually for two more years.  The contract will be renewed annually upon written, mutual agreement of both parties.  The Authority reserves the right to cancel the contract with 60 days written notice in the event of a purchase of the entity furnishing debt collection services or unsatisfactory performance.

For paper copied of the RFP response, one original and four (4) complete copies of the proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package marked “RFP # UB202401 DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES CONTRACT FOR WESTERN VIRGINIA WATER AUTHORITY” and received in the Customer Service Division, 601 S. Jefferson St., Suite 100 Roanoke VA 24011 no later than 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) on April 17 ^th , 2024. Proposals received after the above date/time will be rejected and returned to the Proposer unopened.  It is the responsibility of the Proposer to insure that proposals are received in the appropriate place and by the designated time.  Since this is a formal request, no faxed proposals will be accepted.

RFP responses sent via email, the response must be delivered to paul.miller@westernvawater.org no later than 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) on April 17 ^th , 2024.
