Debt Collection Services for Professional Ambulance Billing

The City of Watervliet (City) hereby requests proposals from qualified firms or individuals to assist the City of Watervliet with debt collection services on certain past due accounts owed to the city of Professional Ambulance Services.

• Issuance of RFP: October 30, 2025
• Written Questions from Offerors due: November 10, 2025, by 4:00 pm
• Responses to Questions posted on City website: November 13, 2025, by 4:00 pm
• Proposals Due: Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:00 am

The successful Offeror(s) will be awarded a two (2) year non-exclusive contract, with the option to renew upon mutual agreement of the parties for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms. The City reserves the right to contract any services awarded under this RFP to other firms at their sole discretion whenever it deems necessary. During the term of agreement, there shall be a quarterly review of the performance of Offeror and the City’s interest in continuing the agreement.

Three written copies and one electronic version (PDF) of the proposal must be received no later than 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 18, 2025, at the City of Watervliet General Manager’s Office, City Hall, 2-Fifteenth Street, Watervliet, NY 12189.

Proposals received after that date and time will not be considered.
