Davis Camp Dock & Launch Ramp Improvement

The County of Mohave, on behalf of the Public Works - Parks Division , is seeking bids from qualified respondents for a construction project titled: Davis Camp Dock & Launch Ramp Improvement . All bids are due before 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 .

Mohave County’s Davis Camp boat launch was installed in the late 1980’s as a response to the tremendous need for support facilities of this type of recreation. It is a publicly accessible ramp providing access to the popular Colorado River waterway flanking the Laughlin resort and Bullhead City shores.

The existing launch has reached end of service life, and this Project will deliver a new, modern boat launch configured to accommodate Mohave County Sheriff’s patrol watercraft as well as small to medium sized watercraft launched by park patrons. Actual launch closure and Project construction work must heed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work period and other requirements set forth in the Project permit. Other factors for the construction timeline include consideration of peak summer operations (Memorial Day – Labor Day) and favorable construction times influenced by the river stage and streamflow.
