Davidson Road Paving Improvement

NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS
Washington County shall receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation
interested in constructing the:
DAVIDSON ROAD PAVING IMPROVEMENTS
This project will include drainage improvements and paving the dirt road from Douglas Ferry Road
to the Washington County line. This project will also include signage, striping and sod along the
roadway.
Bid documents can be obtained at Dewberry, 20684 Central Avenue East, Blountstown, Florida

The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.
Completion date for this project will be 210 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented
to the successful bidder.
Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $1,000.00
per day.
Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid for the "DAVIDSON ROAD PAVING
IMPROVEMENTS".
Bids will be received until 2:00 PM (CST) on August 17, 2026, at the Washington County
Administrative Office, 1331 South Blvd., Chipley, FL 32428, and will be opened and read aloud on
August 17, 2026, at 2:05 PM (CST). The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. No
proposal will be accepted after the established deadline. The County will not be responsible for any
delays related to the electronic submission of proposals.
Plans and Specifications will be available from Dewberry. Digital copies will be available free of
charge.
The Washington County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in
any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in
the best interest of Washington County.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION
Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the County
may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests
when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
