Dalton Farms Sewer-UV Disinfection System Replacement

The project includes the replacement of the UV Disinfection system with a new Trojan UV 3200K open channel system and demolition of the current non-working equipment located at the Dalton Farms Sewer Plant located at 21 Recreation Rd., Poughquag, NY. Included in the scope of work is maintaining plant operation (including the current temporary chlorine disinfection system) while the work is being performed.

PREBID SITE VISIT:

The Owner will conduct an optional pre-bid site visit on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM local time at the Authority’s Dalton Farms Sewer Wastewater Treatment plant located at 21 Recreation Rd, Poughquag, NY 12570. All bidders desiring to respond to this solicitation are encouraged to attend this site visit to familiarize themselves with existing conditions of the Project site.

Special Note: All questions about meaning or intent of Bidding Documents, as described above, shall be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 PM (EDT) on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 via e-mail to Edward Mills, DCWWA Project Facilitator, at emills@dutchessny.gov or by telefax to 845-486-3656 addressed to Edward Mills.

It is intended that responses will be provided electronically via Addenda (prepared by the Engineer) to all plan holders of record on Bidnet and Contract Reporter, by Carol Falcone, Contract Specialist, as warranted, no later than 4:00 PM (EDT) on Fri day, February 7, 2025 .

Separate sealed Bids on forms prepared by the OWNER will be received by the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority until 1:00 PM (local time) Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

All submissions shall be in accordance with the Information for Bidders, Drawings, and Specifications prepared by H2M Architects + Engineers, 433 River Street, Suite 8002, Troy, NY 12180.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 PM (local time) Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the offices of the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, 1 Lagrange Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York. Bids will be reviewed, and the Contract will be awarded within ninety (90) days of receipt of bids.
