INVITATION TO BID

CITY OF BROCKTON, MASSACHUSETTS

CLUBHOUSE WINDOW RENOVATIONS

CONTRACT NO. PK-BID24RR-WINDOWS

The City of Brockton invites contractors to submit Bid Proposals for Clubhouse Window

Renovations, project number PK-BID24RR-WINDOWS, at the D. W. Field Golf Course, 331

Oak Street, Brockton, MA 02301, in accordance with the documents prepared by HKT

Architects Inc., 24 Roland Street, Charlestown, MA 02129.

The work is estimated to cost $450,000.00

The scope of work includes but is not limited to the removal of existing storm windows and sash

and providing replacement within existing wood window frames. In a few locations, non-original

windows will be replaced in their entirety. The project includes miscellaneous other items as

well. The new sash and windows will be aluminum-clad wood with insulated glass and have

simulated true divided lights. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) in the

following category of work: General Building Construction.

All bids for the project are subject to the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 149, Sections 44A, and

44J, and to minimum wages, as required by M.G.L. C.149 Sections 26 to 27H inclusive.

This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online at

www.Projectdog.com.

General Bids will be received online until, 11:00 AM, (local legal time) Thursday, January

11, 2024. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority. Tutorials and

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the D. W. Field Golf Course Clubhouse, 331 Oak

Street, Brockton, MA 02301 at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Bid forms and contract documents are available online at www.Projectdog.com after 11:00 AM

on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Enter Project Code 859213 in the project locator box and

select “Acquire Documents” to download documents or to purchase hard copies. New users to

Any addenda shall be posted online at Projectdog.com. Each individual or firm recorded as

having received the contract documents will be notified by email if and when addenda are

issued. Hard copies of the addenda will not be mailed or faxed to plan holders. It is the sole

responsibility of the Bidder to review all addenda before the bid opening online at

Projectdog.com.

The Contract Documents will be on file and may be viewed but not removed at the Brockton

No interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents shall

be made to any bidder. Every request must be in writing. Questions concerning this project shall

Deadline for General bidder questions, due in writing shall be Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10:00

AM.

Questions received after the above deadlines may not be considered by the City of Brockton.

The right is reserved by the City of Brockton, through the Chief Procurement Officer to reject

any or all Bids, if it be the public interest so to do.
